‘Bol Na Aunty Aau Kya’ Has Been Taken Down By YouTube, B’Lore Cops To Take Action If Event Happens

The viral video “Bol Na Aunty Aau Kya” which the social media is abuzz with has been taken down from YouTube for it was sexist and it objectified women. This comes after another singing sensation, Dhinchak Pooja was wiped off the YouTube.

The song “Bol Na Aunty Aau Kya , Sott Mai Lagau kya” by the self-claimed rapper Omprakash Mishra has got netizen’s attention. Social media is flooded with memes because most of the people just find it funny not do not actually like the song.  But when one looks at the lyrics and listens to the entire song, its far from funny.

It turned out that Omprakash Mishra aka Rap King is not the only one asking “Bol Na Aunty Aau Kya” when there were events being organised to gather and sing out loud. And lot of people actually gathered. (No idea why)

After hundreds gathered at Delhi’s Cannaught Place, there are 2 more events which are now likely to be cancelled because the cops have clearly stated that they won’t allow the sexist song events and it has also been taken down from Youtube.

There are two ‘Bol Na Aunty’ shouting events, one at Mumbai’s Marine Drive on September 17 and at Bengalore’s Cubbon Park on September 23.

According to a Deccan Herald report, Bengalore Police Commissioner, T Suneel Kumar was quoted saying,

“WE WILL NOT ENCOURAGE FACEBOOK EVENT WHICH INCLUDES SEXIST LYRICS. SO FAR WE HAVE NOT BEEN APPROACHED BY THE ORGANISERS SEEKING PERMISSION FOR THE EVENT. IF THE ORGANISERS GO AHEAD WITH THE EVENT WE WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION.”
